Well I am starting a blog, so I hope I can keep up on it and make it fun. First I will tell you what happened last Sunday. After church we came home as usual had luch took naps, I was doing the dishes or some kind of clean up and my kids were so wild especially my boys running around yelling and hitting each other. I came into the living room to see what was going on and I noticed that my new leather sectional had holes in the arm rest. There were about 10 holes that looked like pencils holes all over an there was the broken pencil on the floor. I can not tell you how mad I was I could bearly speak I asked the kids who did and after asked about 10 times Owen finally said he did and Logan said that he tried to put holes in it as well. I sat them down on the couch and had to walk out of the room for a moment. Jason this whole time was in the garage cleaning. I told the boys that when their dad came in they were going to have to tell him exactly what they did. He was not nearly as nice as I was he totally cam unglued at them. The next morning Jason woke up and was still really upset and wrote a whole list of rules for the kids of how they were to be punished for poking holes in the couch. First they were gounded for a week for T.V, computer, video games, friends, toys, They will be getting a spanking every night for a week and writing I will not poke holes in the couch 50 times. Monday night for family night we had a family counsil and discussed what would happen with the boys and the family. They took it really well and have been following all the rules. It is hard for me to follow all of Jason's rules for the kids I feel so bad when I look in their big brown eyes. That has been by week so far.

Today I went exercising and boy was that a hard work out. My body is so sore and tired. I have a lot of chores to do around the house and instead I am writing on the computer. Although last night we had an enrichment recipe exchange which was lots of fun I am glad we had such a good turn out their was about 5 ladies that showed up which was great and it was a ton of fun to talk to everyone and get back to some friends I haven't hear of in a while.

  1. i would have killed my kids, btw. getting the first couple posts out of the way is the hardest part in getting a blog going. just keep making yourself do it and it will get easier and funner. thanks for letting me peek in. looks good so far. if you need help figuring anything else out, let me know.

i'm brooke's sister (her blogging buddy); hope you don't mind me peeking in, too.
i can't believe you were able to post about your couch. i would be too mad to write about it like it was just another thing that happened. how frustrating!
glad you are trying to get a blog going. you'll get into the swing of things soon enough. just keep at it.
